EBC Water Resources Virtual "Coffee Hour": Clean Water Act Permitting & Jurisdiction

Description

Join EBC for an informal discussion to catch up on the latest developments affecting Clean Water Act permitting programs. The conversation will cover rulemaking and other actions taken by the Biden administration and the courts on CWA jurisdictional issues like the changing definition of “waters of the United States” (aka WOTUS) and the threat of expanding NPDES permitting and enforcement targeting subsurface wastewater discharges and groundwater plumes that impact surface waters. Attendees will have an open platform to discuss these and similar Clean Water Act concerns. Bob Melvin with Robinson & Cole LLP will moderate questions and facilitate the discussion.

EBC will randomly choose one lucky attendee to receive a $5 Dunkin’ Donuts gift card. Only registered attendees present during the announcement are eligible to receive the gift card.

EBC Discussion Meetings are open to EBC Members only. The intention of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for EBC Members to connect with others and discuss a current issue in the industry. Moderation will be light and all are encouraged to ask questions and provide their thoughts.
